They had 9 children with all but Anna Dorthea, born about 1904, surviving into adulthood. Anna Dorthea died at about age two. Mary Kate Egan-Eltzholtz was the daughter of Kieran Egan and Bridget Dennison-Egan (County Galway, Ireland) and emigrated to the United States from Ireland when she was about 12 years old. Mary Kate had two sisters Sabina who also emigrated to the US and Bridget (who was my grandmother and remained in Ireland) and four brothers Patrick-not married, Thomas (who emigrated to Sydney, Australia & died there. He wasn't married), Michael-not married and Francis-married. My grandmother Bridget was the last surviving member of her family. She died in 1967 aged 84 yrs.
